Rain spatters on the canopy

And beats a noisy symphony on the awning

The ground is glistening from the wet

The cats have long stopped fighting

Crickets silenced

And frogs rendered a-amourous, 

surprisingly

Lightnings adding to the quiet drama

The Magic Of Rain And  Mamak Stall : Coming Home

.....the rain begins to beat harder and stronger outside. The road is empty of vehicles and the shops are closed. The mamak shop is quiet and I am the last customer as the owner switches off all the lights. Now it's getting darker and colder. Everywhere is so silent and peaceful.... I am going home....
