 What Would You Do If You See Your Child Being Raped? What Would God Do?

If you see your child being raped

What would you do?

You would do everything to stop it

Even to scarifice your life

Because you love your child

But you are not all powerful

Yet you would do all you can,

and more

What would god do?

God loves your child more

And god loves you too

And god is all loving, 

all compassionate 

and all powerful

What would god do?

God could:-

Close one eye

because it is an ugly thing

to watch

God could:-

Let it be

because it is your responsibilty

to care for and protect your child

Because the sins of the fathers

are visited upon the progeny,

so says the good book

God could:-

Intervene and stop the 

rape before it even happens

If this is the case, 

there should be no child rapes

Or maybe god intervenes selectively,

in those cases whose parents believe in god

But wouldn't that be so petty,

childish and uncompassionate and

unbecoming of the divine?

Or maybe,

god is not what

we have been told god is,

ever loving and compassionate

and all powerful

Or maybe,

god has a plan like

so many aver to on the

good old book,

all will be saved in

god's good old time

But wouldn't that

be making excuses

That, at best, speaks

of a cruel despot 

playing games?

Or maybe, just maybe,

god exists not

and he or she or it

is not to blame

Maybe, maybe

But what would you do

if you see your child being raped

What would god do?
