The Excuse (s) We Make For God : I Have Heard, God Is Omnipotent, All Loving, Compassionate And Forgiving

I have heard

God is omnipotent

All loving, compassionate and forgiving

God created everything

There is nothing impossible for god to do

God loves you more than your parents themselves

I know parents love you too

They will die for you if they have to

For e.g, they will do anything they can to save you from Covid-19 if they could, even, as I have said, die for you to save you from the rogue pathogen

But your parents are not all powerful

They are as helpless as you are to save yourself from Covid-19

But for God, that should not be a problem if you extrapolate from the assertion that God is all loving, compassionate, forgiving, omnipotent and nothing is impossible for God to do

Still, despite God's supreme love for you - even surpassing your parents' own - we see people dying from Covid-19

Still, we don't relent, we don't despair, we worship God and give all thanks and respect to God

We pray, we pray hard, trusting implicitly to God's love and grace

And where your parents cry, God sits back, soaking in your reverence and worship

And watches, doing nothing to help

Well, they say God has his way

Of course, God has his way

We sinners just cannot comprehend God's unbounded grace

In good time,

In good time 

Deliverance comes

Yes, when you are dead

Or after you have repented and accepted God's grace?

From what?

The sin of the coronavirus created by God himself?

Playing god and the devil?

The excuse (s) we are wont to make for God!

Oh my, oh my!

Does God need excuses?
