Not A Yellow Lemon Tree Only Yellow Dust To See

I'm sitting here in a boring room

Wondering if the blues will hit like a broom

All is quiet

But the heat beats one and all alike

I'm reading a book

A little distracted

The haze clouding the skies

Like a curtain hanging down awry

I wonder if the sky will turn blue again

They say blue is the colour the sky delights

But all I see is yellow dust

Across the skies

I'm turning around

Turning around

And all I see is the yellow dust

Colouring the sky

The month of July, Malaysian skies

The open burning season around

Nothing is turning green

All is yellow dust hanging in the skies
