Blessed Is The Man Without A Religion
Blessed is the man without a religion
For he need not constantly look over his shoulder
To see whether he is judged lacking
Blessed is he who goes to the succour
Of a child and prevents her being raped
Not the Being who watches
And does nothing
For it is said
'The sins of the parents are visited
upon the children'
And everyone will be judged one day, anyway
Blessed is the man who loves his fellow human beings
Not because he is told to offer the other cheek
Blessed is the man who
Kills not, steals not, lies not and cheats not
Nor harms others
Not because he is told to
On pain of hell fire
Or promise of heaven
Blessed is the man who sees clearly
That in this reality of life
A being said to be
Ever loving,
compassionate
and forgiving
Is a naked, ugly contradiction
That cannot be
A monster instead, maybe?
Hehehe
