Sitting at my workstation

4 am in the morning

Rain starting to fall

and then gushing

Striking a raucous symphony on the awning

outside the room

Cooling the air

And filling it with life invigorating ions

Oh my!

Even the cats 

have stopped meowing

And the frogs not fooled
Crickets quieted!
